RHU celebrated another proud achievement for its students on July 30, 2019. RHU civil engineering MS student, Nour El Deen Ezz, took home the first place award for the most distinguished graduation project in the field of Structural Engineering, during the annual competition organized by the Order of Engineers and Architects in Lebanon.
“Experiment Evaluation of Friction Losses between Post-Tensioned Strands and Plastic Ducts” was the title of his academic research developed under the supervision of RHU Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, associate professor Dr. Zaher Abou Saleh.
The competition attracted entries from seven participating universities in Lebanon including RHU, LU, Balamand, BAU, IUL, USEK, and USJ. While Mr. Ezz reaped the first place award, he also received $1500 money award.
