    RHU research team wins Second Best Paper Award at ICAIRA 2026

    Another outstanding achievement for Rafik Hariri University (RHU) on the international research stage!

     

    RHU proudly celebrates the remarkable success of its research team at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Research and Applications (ICAIRA 2026), held in Istanbul from September 2–4, where the team received the Second-Best Paper Award.

     

     

    The award-winning paper, “Smart AI-Integrated Solar Inverter for Energy Management,” presents an innovative AI-driven approach to enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and performance of solar energy systems. This research reflects RHU’s commitment to advancing artificial intelligence, research, and innovation and to developing solutions that support a smarter, more sustainable future.

     

     

    Associate Professor Dr. Bassam Moslem and Professor Mohamad Taha led the research, with Professor Taha presenting the paper at the conference. Engineering students Mohammad Ahmad, Sahar Sabbagh, Sarah Karaman, and Mohamad Al Khatib co-authored the paper.

     

     

    This international recognition highlights the quality and impact of research emerging from RHU and underscores the University’s growing contribution to the global academic and research community.
