As part of RHU’s 25th Anniversary celebrations, a time capsule filled with items symbolizing our community’s milestones and journey was sealed on Wednesday, December 10, near the RHU Main Theatre. The plan is to reopen it in 25 years, giving future generations a glimpse of RHU as it is today.
During the ceremony, the RHU President reflected on the importance of this moment and the core values that have shaped RHU. He emphasized how this milestone represents the enduring vision of the late Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, whose faith in education as a driver for opportunity, innovation, and national development continues to guide the university’s mission.
Faculty, staff, and students gathered to witness this memorable event. Students added meaningful items to the capsule, each symbolizing a part of their connection to the RHU identity and aspirations, creating a collective snapshot of our vibrant community.
The capsule serves as a tribute to RHU’s legacy in motion, linking past, present, and future. It celebrates 25 years of excellence and reaffirms our dedication to advancing our Founder’s vision, inspiring future generations with a story rooted in values, driven by innovation, and strengthened by purpose.
