Six members of the RHU Chess Club participated in an international chess tournament at the Russian House in Beirut, organized by the Russian Soviet Alumni Chess Club, S.E.A. (Soviet Educated Alumni Association), and the Lebanese Chess Federation.


Among 65 skilled competitors, RHU’s Ms. Rayyan Ayoub delivered an outstanding performance. She tied for first place with Lebanese chess player Mohamad Mikati, scoring 5 out of 6. According to the tie-break rules, Ms. Ayoub was awarded second place, a remarkable achievement reflecting her skill, dedication, and determination.


The tournament provided a valuable opportunity for the RHU team to gain international experience and prepare for the upcoming FSUL Chess Tournament.
