The RHU Office of the President successfully hosted a seminar titled “Traceability and IT, Building Trust Through Technology-Driven Reliability and Safety.” The seminar highlighted key challenges and opportunities in ensuring food traceability, safety, and reliability, emphasizing the crucial role of technology in building consumer trust and promoting sustainable food systems.
Esteemed speakers Mr. Atef Idriss, CEO of MENA Food Safety Associates (MEFOSA), and Ms. Yara Abi Nakhoul, Institutional Sales and Laboratory Development Supervisor, engaged the audience with insightful discussions on how technology is transforming supply chain management in the food industry, from “farm” to “fork.”
