The College of Business Administration hosted two prestigious guest speakers from the Association of Accountants & Financial Professionals in Business (IMA). Mr. Gaby Lahoud, Lebanon’s IMA Chapter President, and Mr. Rishi Malhotra, Academic & Community Relations Manager for MENA Region, presented about “The Promise, Process, and Importance of CMA Certification.” The seminar took place on Wednesday, November 28 at 11:00 AM in the MEA Hall. Students were very interactive and interested in knowing more about the CMA certification especially that the CBA offers a CMA preparatory course at RHU.
The two speakers talked intensively about the two parts of the CMA certification, the requirements of this program, the possible careers in management accounting and the LinkUp platform for IMA members. They encouraged the students to pursue such a certification and join the IMA, noting that the IMA offers 10 scholarships for the top RHU students that covers all the costs of the CMA exam.
