RHU welcomed a distinguished delegation from Washington University in Liberal Arts and Sciences, including Dr. Mario R. Karkour, Chancellor and Founder; Dr. Saher Al Annan; and Dr. Fadi Kebbeh, for a high-level visit focused on advancing institutional collaboration and building meaningful academic partnerships.
The discussions centered on strengthening the connection between both universities and pinpointing areas of mutual interest for joint projects. Several collaborative pathways were outlined, showing a shared commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful community involvement.
To ensure structured follow-through and strategic alignment, a joint steering committee was formed, co-chaired by RHU President Dr. Said Ladki and Dr. Karkour. The committee will oversee the development and implementation of agreed-upon initiatives, turning vision into measurable action.
Mr. Ibrahim Akkawi, RHU Vice President of Administration and Finance, played a key role in the visit by contributing to strategic discussions and supporting the development of sustainable, long-term collaboration frameworks.
