Rafik Hariri University proudly celebrates the remarkable accomplishment of Mounir El Ashi Shbib, who represented both RHU and Lebanon at the Adobe Certified Professional World Championship, held in California, USA, from July 26–29. Competing alongside 60 finalists from 38 countries, Mounir achieved an outstanding 8th place worldwide.

Under the guidance of Ms. Serene Srouji, Chair of the Graphic Design Department, who served as his supervisor and chaperone, Mounir competed against some of the most talented young designers globally.
During the championship, finalists were challenged to develop a professional poster and integrated marketing campaign for the upcoming Netflix series "My Life is Worth Living", a powerful initiative addressing teen mental health and promoting resilience, hope, and the importance of seeking support. Participants showcased their creativity and technical expertise using Adobe Creative Cloud to transform these meaningful themes into compelling visual communication.
This achievement reflects RHU’s commitment to academic excellence, creativity, and empowering students to compete on a global stage.
Congratulations, Mounir. You have made RHU and Lebanon proud!
