RHU junior graphic design student, Omar Mougharbel, won the 3rd prize in the Wildlife Protection Design Award Competition. He received his award during a prestigious ceremony at the Lebanese Ministry of Environment on October 16 that was attended by RHU CSIS Dean, Dr. Mohamad Al Ladan, and Design Department Chair, Ms. Serene Srouji.
This competition was launched in collaboration between the Lebanese Ministry of Environment and the European Union funded StREG (Support to Reforms – Environmental Governance) program as part of the Ministry of Environment’s Sustainable Hunting Campaign).
Omar Mougarbel also received 400 US dollars in prize money. His designed billboard might be featured on the streets in Lebanon as part of the Ministry’s sustainable hunting campaign.
