RHU expresses its sincere gratitude to Ms. Thana Khodr Hussein (Senior Biomedical Engineering) and Ayla Naji Khayat (Junior Finance and Banking), the two students representing RHU President, for establishing the Student Emergency Fund in November 2021.
Through this Fund, they intend to support as many RHU students as possible by minimizing the financial burden of the cost of their education and allowing them to focus on the most important aspect of university life, learning. This Fund will alleviate some of the hardships that the students face due to the collapse of the financial system in Lebanon.
"Our primary goal is to make sure our friends continue their education and not quit RHU for any financial reason," Thanaa and Ayla said.
Thana and Ayla have worked hard to bring in donations during the last period. Their work has not stopped. In fact, and in a lot of ways, it’s just starting.
