RHU students Mohamad Ibrahim, Mechatronics Engineering, and Mohamad Chaaban, Computer and Communications Engineering, were featured on MTV Lebanon yesterday night as part of Sarelwa2et program, having obtained a patent for a mobile phone “Smart Charger” from the Lebanese Ministry of Economics and Trade. They are in need of funds to start mass production.
Their smart charger works automatically on smart devices, analyzes battery data and automatically recharges it. The importance of their invention lies in extending the life of the phone battery, improving its performance and protecting the device and the user from overheating by automatically cutting off the power of the phone in the event of any fault in the power supply.
