The Computer, Math, and Science Department at the College of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter, organized a student-led workshop titled “Discover Your Path in Computer Science.” Designed to provide honest and practical advice, the workshop gave RHU computer science students an overview of key career paths in computer science, including web development, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and mobile development. It helped them identify at least one specific next step toward shaping their professional future.

Senior ACM students provided clear, practical guidance on what each field entails, emphasizing the required skills, sample projects to develop, and how RHU courses, hands-on experiences, and online certifications can prepare students for the evolving job market in Lebanon and beyond.

The session concluded with an invitation for students to join RHU teams competing in the Lebanese Collegiate Programming Competition (LCPC), encouraging them to enhance their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence.
