In a university committed to academic excellence, students develop the right mindset to innovate and turn challenges into opportunities. RHU mechatronics engineering students, Hussein Harb and Abdel Rahim El Mouhamad, faced the COVID 19 pandemic with eager minds, announcing their well-deserved newly registered patent from the Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade for a multi-purpose customizable robot that provides zero-cost sterilization without any need for human intervention.
Their invention was done in collaboration with Dr. Mahmoud Kattan, Abdel al-Halim Obeid, Eng. Ali Faraj and Micrologic Company.
"The disinfection process provided by the robot is specially designed to do the work without the need for adding any material or disinfectant. We are on our way to present our robot to the public," said Hussein writing to RHU.
Thank you for making RHU ever more proud! Congratulations.
