RHU participated as a Gold Sponsor in the 6th edition of the Haramoun Marathon on Sunday, July, 14, 2019. Moreover, RHU took part in the Haramoun Village on July 13 and 14.
RHU Student Affairs Office, Admissions Office, and Athletics Department, and students joined the Village’s campfire event on the night before the race. On the race day, and with great enthusiasm, RHU Athletics Department and students operated water and cheering stations and were pleased to be spreading positive vibes to cheer up the marathon runners.
The Haramoun Village is located in Souk el Khan and is a market close to the race area. It is said that Phoenicians established the Souk el Khan as the home to olive trees sixty thousand years ago. It is considered as one of the oldest markets in the region.
