RHU welcomed a distinguished academic delegation, including Dr. Ali Hellany from Western Sydney University and Dr. Mohamad Nassereddine from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, during an official visit to the Office of the President.
The meeting was attended by RHU President Dr. Said Ladki, Provost Dr. Mahmoud Halablab, the College deans, and faculty members, including Dr. Ghalia Nassreddine, Dr. Ali Rammal, and Dr. Abir El Abed of the Lebanese University.


Discussions focused on strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities for academic and research collaboration. Drs. Hellany and Nassereddine proposed expanding cooperation through co-supervision of PhD and master’s students, underscoring the value of joint academic mentorship and knowledge exchange.
The meeting also underscored the importance of integrating sustainability with artificial intelligence, aligning with RHU’s ongoing efforts to enhance curricula across all majors by incorporating advanced AI topics. In addition, Dr. Nassereddine presented emerging research directions from institutions in Australia and Dubai and introduced key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve student employability and increase research output.


Both visiting academics emphasized the importance of integrating real-world industry challenges into students’ final-year projects to better prepare graduates for the evolving job market.
Concluding the visit, Dr. Said Ladki thanked the delegation for their valuable contributions and reaffirmed RHU’s commitment to expanding collaboration through joint workshops, seminars, and future research initiatives. The University further emphasized its commitment to strengthening international partnerships and fostering academic excellence through meaningful global cooperation.
