The RHU ACM Student Chapter in the Computer and Information Systems Department CIS at the College of Arts and Sciences organized a workshop on web development for high school students. Two senior computer science students, Sammy Medawar and Khalil Farhat, conducted the workshop on Friday, November 17th, 2023.
The workshop aimed to share technical knowledge, serve the community, and introduce students to the various programs offered by the College of Arts and Sciences in Computer Science and Healthcare Information Systems.
Students from several schools attended the workshop, such as Al Iman Pilot School Aramoun, Hariri III, Beit Jala, and Makassed Islamic High Schools. Around 40 students participated in the workshop and had an enjoyable and educational day at RHU. Most of them showed interest in pursuing their university education at RHU.
