October 20 was the election day for the RHU Student Representative Council (SRC). This year 15 students ran for the SRC elections representing their colleges and programs of study. Participation was open to or students who voted through polling stations in the main theater between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Student Affairs Office announced 8 winners at 5:00 p.m.

The winners are Bashar Mohammad El Turk, Hadi Yehya Zebian, and Zeina Mohammad Ziad Abdel Raheem from the College of Engineering, Luna Mohammad Lahham and Malaka Malek Kaakour from the College of Business Administration, Abedelfattah Ahmad Amouneh and Yasmina Ihab Helou from the College of Arts and Sciences, and Ziad Hisham Kiwan from the Freshman Program.

Students voted with great enthusiasm and in support to addressing main student issues and concerns. The election results exhibited a solid belief in democracy, transparency, and teamwork.
