The IEEE RHU Student Branch in the College of Engineering, in collaboration with Semicolon Academy, hosted a Capture The Flag (CTF) practice session on May 28. This hands-on session covered key areas in cybersecurity that will be featured in the upcoming local university CTF competition taking place in the Beirut Digital District on June 1. The event aimed to help students build practical skills, enhance problem-solving abilities, and foster collaboration through team-based learning.

“This session was a great opportunity for students to improve their practical cybersecurity skills and gain confidence before the upcoming CTF. We’re excited to help them grow and have fun doing it!”– Mr. Omar Al Halabi, Semicolon Academy.

Through a mix of hands-on labs and team collaboration, students had the opportunity to engage in real-world cybersecurity scenarios, preparing them to tackle future competitions and professional roles with confidence.
