The RHU Electrical and Computer Engineering Department ECE proudly announces that the IEEE RHU Student Branch has won the esteemed IEEE Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award for 2023. Congratulations to the 2023 IEEE RHU SB represented by RHU ECE students Ahmad Sharara (Branch President), Salam Daou (Vice-President), Sana Rahal (Secretary), Karim Merhi (Treasurer), Asmaa Hindawi (Social Media Manager), Souad Al Sabbouh (Event Organizer), and associate professor Dr. Maher Sabbah (Society Advisor).
The IEEE MGA SAC Awards & Recognition Sub-Committee Chair, Warunika Hippola, sent an email on March 12, 2024, acknowledging the innovative approach, commitment, and impactful contributions of RHU’s IEEE SB to student activities within the IEEE community. Hippola praised the exemplary contributions and activities of the RHU Student Branch and established it as a benchmark of excellence in generating value-driven and knowledge-sharing experiences for IEEE student members.
Warunika Hippola further stated, “Your innovative approach to student activities contributes immensely to the growth and retention of IEEE student members, inspiring and nurturing future professionals in our field.”
