The IEEE RHU Student Branch, represented by Branch Chair Ahmad Sharara and Treasurer Karim Merhi, participated in the IEEE Lebanon General Assembly held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. ECE Department Chair professor Rached Zantout, professors Mohammad Diab and Mohammad Taha, and associate professor Maher Sabbah joined the assembly.
In addition to the IEEE Lebanon section, representatives of IEEE student branches from RHU and several universities took part in this assembly at the Lebanese American University Irwin Auditorium.
Ahmad Sharara spoke on behalf of the IEEE RHU Student Branch. He introduced the committee members and briefed the attendees on the 2021-2022 IEEE RHU Student Branch events and the plans and activities for 2022-2023.
