RHU students, faculty, and staff joined hand in hand to perform the traditional Lebanese folk dance “Dabke” on October 9, 2019 as part of the RHU Dabke Challenge organized by the Student Affairs Office. The intense competition surfaced to two winning teams, consisting of 3 ladies in one and 3 gentlemen in the other, awarded 50 dollars each for their love and devotion to Lebanese culture.
The challenge kicked off at 11:00 a.m. and participants were happy moving their feet to the beet. The most challenging thing you could see is “hope” that the Lebanese can well “unite” to the rhythm of their shared culture.
