As part of the Alumni Honors Program, RHU is proud to announce Dr. Amani Alabed, PhD, Class of 2015, as the 2026 Alumni Honoree.
Dr. Alabed is an Assistant Professor and AI researcher at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom.
With nearly a decade of experience across academia and industry, she has led AI research initiatives, advised startups, and contributed to discussions on the societal implications of emerging technologies, bridging research, innovation, and real-world applications.
Dr. Alabed has also been featured on global platforms, including as a speaker at Web Summit Qatar 2026.
At RHU, we are proud to honor Dr. Alabed for her outstanding achievements and global impact, and for embodying the spirit of innovation, excellence, and purpose-driven leadership that defines our alumni community.
