The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at RHU College of Engineering hosted a free, hands-on workshop for high school students on Saturday, January 31, to introduce participants to biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer and communications engineering. The event is part of RHU’s ongoing effort in early academic outreach and inspiring interest in STEM fields through experiential learning.

The workshops gave students engaging, hands-on experience in the ECE Department's core engineering programs. Through interactive activities, practical experiments, and live demonstrations led by faculty and engineering students, participants explored real-world engineering applications and gained valuable insights into university studies and potential engineering careers.

The sessions fostered curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation. By blending theory with practice, the workshops helped students gain a better understanding of STEM fields and imagine future academic and career opportunities in engineering.
Through initiatives like these, RHU continues to strengthen its role in inspiring future engineers, fostering early interest in science and technology, and forming meaningful connections with the broader educational community.
