Meet Dr. Jad Khodor, an RHU civil engineering alumnus from the class of 2014 and a leading Research and Development Engineer at Bosch in Reutlingen, Germany. A PhD graduate of Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Dr. Khodor has made significant contributions to Micro-Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) research and development. He plays a vital role in designing and optimizing MEMS for cutting-edge sensor technologies.
In 2018, he received the Lohrmann Medaille from TU Dresden bestowed upon the best graduates of the faculty of civil engineering. His PhD dissertation introduced a groundbreaking method to characterize fatigue crack growth in materials, with his findings published in the International Journal of Fracture, advancing the field of fracture mechanics.
