The RHU First Aid Club, with support from the university infirmary, in collaboration with the Donner Sang Compter (DSC) Lebanon organized a blood drive on Monday, October 24th, 2022, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. near the cafeteria.

This blood drive created a new milestone. Forty-eight blood RHU donors supported the life-saving mission of DSC, a figure that surpassed all recorded numbers of blood drive contributors in other universities in Lebanon.

By participating in a blood drive, donors build the spirit of volunteering to give back to the community, promoting simple, free, and spontaneous support to humans in need, regardless of the group, religion, or culture, and most importantly, contributing to saving lives.

DSC is a Lebanese independent, non-profit, and non-governmental blood donor organization registered at the Ministry of Interior & Municipalities. Its mission is to mobilize and engage volunteers to donate blood through hundreds of annual blood drives, free of charge, all over Lebanon.

RHU and DSC are grateful to all who donated or attempted to donate.
