RHU celebrated pink October during a Pink Day Fundraiser on October 27, 2022. The RHU Feminist Club, Design Society, and the Chess Club jointly organized the event, which included an awareness session and a bake sale.
The event hosted Midwife Rana Abou Zeid as a guest speaker. Ms. Abou Zeid discussed the risks and the screening process of breast cancer to raise awareness about this disease and the importance of early diagnosis and detection. The event also hosted a bake sale and numerous activities to collect contributions to help a cancer patient.
The organizers thank all donors and supporters, especially the Student Affairs Office, for making this event possible.
