Our vast universe is full of beautiful secrets waiting to be discovered and the mystery of the stars is always intriguing topic for all. To feed the insatiable appetite for knowledge and promote the understanding of a rather complicated topic, RHU Physics and Astronomy Club hosted their first live webinar “Star Talk” on Friday November 27, 2020. Dr. Mohammad Abbas, Astronomy Associate Researcher at the New York University in Abu Dhabi, gave a comprehensive presentation about the life and death of stars, from dust and gases to a black hole.
Many RHU students and several faculty members attended the webinar that was followed byan incredible live Q&A session where Dr. Abbas passionately answered students’ and faculty members’ questions that exposed their inner geekiness.
