The RHU Feminist Club celebrated International Women’s Day on March 9, 2023.
The Club hosted a special guest Ms. Aziza Sbaity, the fastest woman in Lebanese history, at 11:00 a.m. in the MEA Conference Hall.
Ms. Aziza shared her experience with the attendees. She described what it is like for a black woman to be an athlete in Lebanon and highlighted the importance of empowerment and determination.
The event included presentations of iconic women throughout history and the “Empower Her” mural.
