On Thursday, May 14, 2026, RHU College of Engineering students and faculty were featured on the television program “اليوم أحلا” on “أنا سوريا” to showcase the innovative graduation project “Computer Vision to Audio Conversion,” which supports visually impaired individuals in navigating and understanding their surroundings through assistive technology.
The project was presented by RHU Associate Professor Dr. Oussama Mustapha, along with students Farah Ismail, Reem Koubar, Angy Shhadeh, and Jad Miri, who demonstrated how the system converts visual information into audio cues to enhance accessibility and independence for users. The interview highlighted RHU’s dedication to innovation, applied learning, and the development of impactful technologies that improve lives and advance inclusive solutions for society.
