RHU Provost and Professor of Microbiology, Dr. Mahmoud Halablab, addressed two important public health questions in a recent live interview on LBCI: Are vaccines genuinely effective? And what symptoms might people still experience from COVID-19?
In this informative interview, Dr. Halablab explains that long COVID can produce many symptoms, including brain fog and difficulty concentrating, and that women are more vulnerable to these symptoms than men. Due to the range of symptoms, there isn’t a single treatment effective for everyone; each case needs personalised care. He also highlighted his support for COVID vaccination, noting that vaccinated individuals are less likely to experience long COVID symptoms.
