RHU is extremely proud of the achievement of two of its alumni, Ms. Alaa Salam, ECE engineering, and Ms. Sarah Habli, graphic design, who won the first place award in two challenges of the 8th Edition Arabnet Beirut Conference 2017. The Conference took place on February 20 - 22 at the Hilton Beirut Grand Hotel Habtoor. It showcased the promising ideas of a group of regional entrepreneurs to an enthusiastic crowd of investors, incubators, media and digital professionals.
Ms. Salam won first place in the Arabnet Ideathon Challenge where her team's idea “E-Rush” is a responsive web app that locates available hospital beds according to proximity and healthcare provider.
Ms. Habli’s team won first place for the Arabnet Creative Combat Competition, which aims to highlight young talents at regional advertising, communications, and media industries. Her team tackled the advertising for Alfa's new approach in providing support via its digital channels (website, email, Facebook, Twitter, etc...) in addition to its 111 phoneline. The team’s campaign held the title: " ما تحك راسك "
