RHU is extremely proud of senior mechatronics engineering student Abdel Rahim El Mouhamad who has been selected to serve as the ASME Student Regional Chair for the Middle East and Africa Region after one year as a member of the ASME Regional Board.
In his new role, Abdel Rahim will not only represent the ASME Student Section members, he will also promote and create student activities with professional sections. Furthermore, he will coordinate with the Student Leadership Training Committee to help expand training to each region and involve more student leaders.
Moreover, he will work closely with MDE, Old Guard committee, E-Fests Steering Committee and the Student Programming committee to seek support in creating new programming and develop and share best practices on student professional development through social media and the ASME.org community.
