In his recent interview on LBCI, RHU associate professor of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Dr. Ahmad Kobeissi, highlighted the strategic importance of Advanced Mechatronics Systems in driving innovation, industrial competitiveness, and smart manufacturing in Lebanon.
He explained how mechatronics engineering plays a critical role in modern industry, from robotics and automation to AI integration and smart sensors. Dr. Kobeissi emphasized the growing academic interest and research in this field across Lebanese universities, its economic potential for various sectors, and the need for stronger infrastructure, investment, and policy support to foster a sustainable ecosystem for advanced manufacturing and technology-driven growth.
