RHU alumni never miss the opportunity to make their alma mater proud. The Siemens Healthineers team chose RHU class 2021 biomedical engineering alumna Ms. Ghinwa El Masri as one of the 48 participants in the Innovation Think Tank (ITT) Canada program. After receiving applications from all over the world and shortlisting them for one month, Ms. El Masri represented both Lebanon and RHU in this international event.
Ms. El Masri learned how the Siemens Healthineers team uses its methodology to develop new medical devices. On the final day of the Think Tank, she presented a pitch to an audience of international investors and industry partners to receive extensively positive feedback on her three ideas, blockchain, robotics, and the Medical Internet of Things. She also qualified to apply to the Siemens Healthineers Fellowship program and join their team through internships, full-time and part-time jobs in different branches from around the world.
Established in 2005, the Innovation Think Tank (ITT) is part of the Chief Technology Office of Siemens Healthineers. It includes multiple innovation labs and Innovation Think Tank Certification programs around the world.
