Dear RHU Students,
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to Rafik Hariri University (RHU). I hope you had a fantastic summer break and are ready to embark on a life-transforming journey. I am delighted that you are here and eager to help you make RHU your home away from home. I look forward to seeing you around campus, and if we have not already met, please don’t hesitate to stop me and say hello.
You, the RHU Class of 2025–26, are especially fortunate. You are joining the university as we celebrate our 25th anniversary. Throughout the year, we are planning a series of exciting in-person events, including distinguished lecture series, cultural nights, outdoor activities, and a family campus visit. Be active, participate in RHU activities, and celebrate our success stories with us.
RHU prides itself on providing top-quality education. Our colleges are accredited by leading international accrediting bodies (ABET and ACBSP), and RHU was recently ranked 36th worldwide in Student Support and Engagement by the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). Our curriculum, facilities, and laboratories (engineering, business, graphic design, and more) are on par with those of leading universities. Our world-class faculty have received awards at the local, regional, and international levels, and our alumni can be found in corporate suites, research labs, high-tech firms, financial institutions, and at premier universities around the world.
As you make new friends and familiarize yourself with our campus, I encourage you to take full advantage of the many activities, groups, and opportunities available to you. Be engaged, be bold, be adventurous, and be open to new experiences and perspectives. Dream big, work hard, and challenge yourself to turn your aspirations into reality.
Our campus life is second to none. We are committed to providing you with the finest living, learning, and working experience possible. I invite you to join me at the welcoming session on September 23, where I will share more about our progress, aspirations, and challenges.
Said Ladki, Ph.D.
