Full scholarships for RHU engineering students to complete master's projects in prestigious universities and companies in France

The RHU biomedical engineering program arranged full scholarships for a group of students to complete their master's thesis projects at prestigious universities and companies in France. These included the Université de Rennes, Université de Technologie de Troyes (UTT), Université Jean Monnet, and NeuroKyma company.

Those opportunities strengthened RHU’s deep commitment to students’ personal and professional growth. RHU is proud of Ms. Malak Ghourabi, Ms. Milana Kassab, Ms. Kamar Shehimy, and Ms. Noor Al-Alem for obtaining those opportunities by merit and ability.

    Ms. Malak Ghourabi

“My experience during my six-months master's internship in France was outstanding. I worked at LIST3N Lab of the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT) on electromyogram and force signal processing for fatigue detection. This opportunity qualified me to complete my Ph.D. at UTT. My thesis in security and optimization of systems is entitled Detection of Physical Frailty and Infectious Diseases.”

    Ms. Milana Kasab

“Traveling to France and starting a new experience was a completely different level of responsibility. I completed my six months master’s internship at the LIST3N Lab of the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT). The project tested the viability of adaptively amplifying gait signals for efficient gait monitoring. This internship greatly enhanced my engineering and professional skills. I am now a lab engineer in RHU Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.”

    Ms. Kamar Shehimy

“My 6-months master's internship was a complete shift in my academic and personal life. I worked in the NeuroKyma start-up on brain signals analysis in clinical and cognitive neuroscience. This project won the first prize for the best research paper in the biomedical engineering field at a conference in Lebanon. Now, I am enrolled in a machine learning certification program so that I can apply artificial intelligence in the field of neuroscience.”

    Ms. Noor Al-Alem

“Completing my master’s internship at LASPI, of the Université Jean Monnet, in collaboration with RHU, was a great opportunity. It improved my technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, especially since I had this experience abroad.”
