The RHU United Engineering Club hosted a General Electric Workshop on November 6, 2025, drawing engineering students from all majors. Led by Mr. Omar Kilani, President and Founder of the United Engineering Club, the workshop aimed to raise awareness about electricity, including its origins, sources, and various properties. The session was interactive, featuring hands-on demonstrations and discussions, enabling students to explore different types of electricity and their practical uses.

“This workshop aims to deepen students’ understanding of electricity, including its nature, origins, and applications. It’s a crucial step for every engineer looking to establish a solid foundation in electricity for their future courses,” said Omar Kilani, President and Founder of the United Engineering Club.

Bringing students from all engineering majors together to explore the fundamentals of electricity fosters an engaging environment for learning and teamwork. It’s a valuable experience that enhances both knowledge and collaboration,” added Amjad Arkadan, Event Organizer.
“This event serves as a gateway for students to explore the science of electricity in all its forms. With hands-on demonstrations and interactive discussions, it’s an ideal mix of education, curiosity, and enthusiasm,” shared Hasan Chriedeh, PR Officer of the club.

The General Electric Workshop gave students the chance to deepen their understanding of a key engineering concept while building connections with peers. The United Engineering Club at RHU continues to host events that blend practical learning, innovation, and teamwork for all engineering students.
