The RHU Design Department at the College of Arts and Sciences proudly announces the participation of Ms. Serene Srouji, associate professor and chair of the RHU Design Department, and Dr. Nadine Zahreddine, assistant professor, in the prestigious 4th Paris Conference on Arts and Humanities (PCAH 2025). The Conference was held at Sorbonne University, France, from June 10 to 14, 2025.

Representing RHU on the international stage, Ms. Srouji and Dr. Zahreddine presented their collaborative research titled “The Impact of AI on Graphic Design and Creativity.” Their work critically examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping the creative process and redefining the boundaries of graphic design. Drawing from a detailed case study conducted at RHU, the presentation highlighted both the potential and the limitations of AI in the design field, offering practical insights into how academic institutions can respond to and integrate these technologies into design education and production.

Organized by the International Academic Forum (IAFOR), PCAH 2025 gathered a global community of scholars, researchers, and educators for interdisciplinary dialogue on the evolving intersections between technology, design, and the humanities.

By contributing to this vital conversation, Ms. Srouji and Dr. Zahreddine showcased RHU’s leadership in academic innovation and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to global engagement and excellence in design education.
