As part of RHU’s commitment to community engagement and skill development, the Design Department in the College of Arts and Sciences hosted its second free high school Adobe Photoshop workshop on May 15, bringing together students from multiple schools for an interactive day of creativity, hands-on learning, and graphic design exploration.

The workshop introduced participants to the Graphic Design major through hands-on training in Photoshop, image manipulation, and collage design, and offered students the opportunity to compete for a 50% scholarship to the major by designing a creative floating-island poster.
Led by the Chairperson of the Design Department, Ms. Serene Srouji, and Design instructor, Ms. Rihab Zebian, the workshop offered students a practical introduction to Photoshop fundamentals and creative digital design techniques. The sessions combined technical instruction with interactive activities that fostered creativity and innovation.

The workshop was also supported by graphic design students Mr. Salim Masri and Mr. Hussein Kanawati, who assisted participants throughout the hands-on training sessions and helped foster an engaging learning environment.
A total of 10 students from National Lebanese College, Doha High School, and ILC attended the workshop, where they enjoyed a dynamic educational experience and expressed strong interest in continuing their studies at RHU across various majors.
